In November 2020, DiaExpert introduced the KUMAVISION ERP system for the healthcare market. This project has already been led by M Assist GmbH. In 2022, there were some organizational changes in the operations area within DiaExpert, so that M Assist GmbH was commissioned to take over the area management for the operations area on an interim basis. “The decision was made in favour of M Assist because they have excellent expertise in the diabetes business,” says Thomas Molter, managing director of DiaExpert GmbH.

The task was to set all organizational measures for the upcoming major changes in the company and in the market and to manage day-to-day operations. M Assist took on the following tasks, among others:

  • Review and optimization of processes to discover and activate unused potential and eliminate time wasters
  • Preparation and introduction of independent e-billing
  • Cleansing master and transaction data from the ERP system so that the optimal basis for change is created.
  • Typical management tasks such as controlling departments and KPIs, such as processed recipes, KVs, etc. in relation to recorded supplies and deliveries/invoices via M Assist's Power BI sales controlling.
  • Various measures were then derived there from the analysis of the key figures
“The success factor was, on the one hand, the consultants' expertise in process and industry issues, but also cooperation on equal terms and the willingness of our employees to collaborate and change,” reports Thomas Molter.

Even after the mandate has been completed and the foundation has been successfully laid, we will continue to work together to optimize and change the processes. In this way, independent electronic billing is constantly being expanded. Further digitization options to speed up the supply and billing process are being discussed in the same way that the company's key users continue to be supported with technical topics and process issues through the M Assist consultation format.
