At the end of 2021, KUMAVISION AG and M Assist GmbH were commissioned with a project to update the old ERP system based on Dynamics NAV, which M Assist was in charge of implementing. The real start took place in May 2022.

In addition to migrating the database across four versions, new functions were also implemented and the old output management system was replaced. In addition, the document management system d.3 has been connected and married to the eKV. “Unfortunately, the first attempt at GoLive failed. But together with M Assist, we were able to immediately find the cause and get off to a successful start a week later,” says Marcus Schreiber, Head of Production and IT at auric.

Marcus Schreiber describes the collaboration with M Assist as good and cooperative. In particular, that consultants could be accessed who had already accompanied the latest implementation and update projects and therefore no training period and familiarization was necessary.

Further cooperation is already being planned, the next project is to connect a web shop via the MAS Connector, and further digitization topics are already being discussed.
