Terms of participation and data protection information for the M Assist advent calendar

1. Organizer of the competition

The organizer of this competition is M Assist GmbH, Camp-Spich-Str. 5 Troisdorf 53842, kontakt@massist.de, hereinafter referred to as the “organizer”.

2. Eligibility

  • Only natural persons who have reached the age of 18 and are resident in Germany are eligible to participate.
  • Employees of the organizer are excluded from participation.
  • Participation is free of charge and is not linked to the purchase of products or services.

3. Participation period

  • The advent calendar consists of four competition weeks.

  • A new calendar door opens every Tuesday with a special prize.
  • Participation for the respective door ends the following Sunday at 23:59 (Sunday of Advent).


4. Eligibility requirements

To participate in the competition, participants must complete the following steps:

  • Like the corresponding post on the LinkedIn platform.
  • Follow the organizer's company profile on the LinkedIn platform.
  • Leave a comment with the corresponding Advent code (e.g. “1st Advent”) under the competition entry.

5. Determining the winner

  • The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
  • The announcement will be made on Monday after the end of the participation period via a personal message on LinkedIn.
  • If the winner does not respond to the notification within 5 days, the organizer reserves the right to choose a new winner.

6. Win

     
  • As part of the advent calendar, there is a special prize every week.
  • The prize is not transferable and cannot be paid out in cash.


7. Exclusion from participation

  • The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition who violate these conditions of participation, use unfair means or attempt to manipulate the competition.
  • Comments that are offensive, illegal or inappropriate will be deleted and result in exclusion.


8. Data protection

  • The personal data collected as part of the competition is used exclusively to carry out the competition.
  • The following data is processed:
    • Name and profile name of participants (e.g. LinkedIn profile).
    • Winner's contact information (e.g. email address) to process the prize.
  • The data will not be passed on to third parties.
  • The winners' data may be stored for a longer period of time to ensure that the prize is properly provided and to comply with legal obligations. However, this data is usually deleted after the legal retention periods have expired.
  • The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (contract fulfillment). For more information on data protection, please see our Privacy statement.

9. Liability

  • The organizer is not liable for technical faults, failures or delays that affect participation in the competition.
  • Legal recourse is excluded.

10. Amendment to the conditions of participation

  • The organizer reserves the right to change the conditions of participation or to end the competition at any time for good cause. Information will be provided accordingly.

11. Information about social platforms

  • This competition is not affiliated with LinkedIn, Instagram or any other platform and is not sponsored, supported or organized by them.
  • All inquiries about the competition must be addressed directly to the organizer.
